Man I remember when they used to play football in the fields back in my day . Nowadays it's all about these high-tech stadiums and fancy equipment, but you know what? The excitement is still there! The kids are still out there giving it their all on the field, just like I did in gym class way back when .

I love how the IHSA is doing things right, though - keeping the spirit of the game alive and making sure these young athletes have a chance to shine. And hey, who doesn't love a good underdog story? Like that team from Galena, for example - I mean, 0-26 against Stockton? That's like getting beat by my little brother all over again .

omg did u catch any of those games?? i was talking to my cousin who's a huge fan of mount carmel and he was going crazy when they beat loyola 21-17 his little bro was cheering for loyola tho and he was super disappointed what i love about high school football is how it brings everyone together - even though we lost, my cousin's fam still came out to support mount carmel and u can feel the energy in the stands when those teams are playing
