‘Host’ Star Haley Bishop to Lead Action-Horror ‘For the Good of the Herd’ as Clever Creature Boards Ahead of AFM (EXCLUSIVE)

Clever Creature Inc. is set to bring a chilling new action-horror feature to the American Film Market, with a star-studded cast and crew lining up behind it. The film, titled "For the Good of the Herd", boasts an all-star lineup led by Haley Bishop, best known for her breakout role in AMC Shudder's hit series "Host".

Bishop is set to play Zoe, a complex protagonist haunted by her past who must tap into darker instincts to survive when society collapses. The film, written and directed by Mark Pritchard, promises a thrilling ride that blends survivalist horror with psychological thriller elements.

According to Pritchard, the story explores how far people will go to survive when society breaks down, delving into the impact of malign belief structures on individuals and society as a whole. "Humans are the most terrifying monsters," he notes. "The blurring of lines around belief seems to surface our barbaric gears. Our characters dance around these lines, an uneasy interrogation which provokes personal questions about the nature of predatory forces, what you might do with power, and whether you could be trusted."

Bishop is thrilled to take on the role of Zoe, saying that she's drawn to the character's desperate attempt to shed guilt from her past. "It's a story laced with as much paranoia as it is with bone-crunching gore," Bishop adds. "And selfishly, getting to be the badass final girl, covered in blood and kicking ass, is a dream role."

Clever Creature managing partner Michaelangelo Masangkay describes the project as a bold, genre-driven filmmaking endeavor that pushes boundaries creatively and commercially. With a talented cast, including Michael Tomczyk, Kevin Sand, Giselle Gastell, Bianca Consuji, and Donovan Rodriques, the company is confident in its ability to bring this gripping story to audiences worldwide.

Principal photography is set to begin in November at various locations in the UK, with Clever Creature managing partner Masangkay joining as producer alongside Michael Galvan and Sebastien Bazile of Screen Anthology. The project promises a thrilling ride that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats, making it an exciting addition to the American Film Market.

I'm not sure I'd want to watch this one 🤔... sounds like a whole lot of unnecessary chaos and carnage just for entertainment purposes. All that paranoia and gore can't be good for anyone's mental health 😴. We should be focusing on uplifting stories that promote empathy and understanding, not glorifying the darker aspects of human nature.

man this new movie sounds like its gonna be super intense... i dont know if im ready for this level of paranoia and gore 🤯 but at the same time i love how theyre pushing boundaries with the story and the cast is looking solid 🎥 im just worried about how well the pacing will hold up, theres a fine line between suspenseful and ridiculous when it comes to horror movies 🕷️

Omg this film sounds sooo intense 🤯! I'm low-key excited for the all-star cast and Mark Pritchard's direction... is he new? Like what makes him think humans are monsters? 🤔 Are we really that bad? 😕 And Haley Bishop as the lead, cool! But what if she can't pull off the whole "badass final girl" vibe? Shouldn't it be a diverse cast for once? 🤷‍♀️ Also, how long does this film take to shoot and when's it coming out? Like, is it gonna be a quick thrill ride or an all-day scary movie marathon? 🎥

Man... I'm so down for this new "For the Good of the Herd" movie! Reminds me of those old horror flicks from back in the day like "The Descent" and "28 Days Later". It's all about surviving when society falls apart, right? kinda like what happened with the early '00s zombie movies. I hope they don't go too over the top with the gore, tho' some blood and guts never hurt anyone, lol 😂. Haley Bishop seems like a cool actress, reminds me of that other girl from "Host" – you know, the one who got infected 🤢. Anyway, I'm hyped to see what this Clever Creature crew comes up with... hopefully it's as intense as those old Saw movies! 👀

🤯 I'm really intrigued by this new action-horror film "For the Good of the Herd". The fact that it explores how far people will go to survive when society breaks down is super thought-provoking. 🤔 It's like, what would we do if the rules no longer applied? Would we become more primal and savage? Or would we find new ways to adapt and overcome?

The cast is pretty solid too - Haley Bishop as the lead sounds awesome, and I love that she's drawn to a character who's struggling with guilt. 🤷‍♀️ It's like, this girl just wants to be free from her past mistakes, but she's stuck in this nightmare.

I'm also loving the fact that Clever Creature is taking risks with this film. They're not afraid to push boundaries creatively and commercially, which is awesome. 💥 We need more original horror stories like this one. Can't wait for it to start filming in November! 📸

🤣 I'm low-key hyped for this one! An all-star cast is always a good sign, but what really got me excited was Haley Bishop's description of the film as "bone-crunching gore". Like, let's get real, who doesn't love a good gruesome scene every now and then? 😂 The fact that it blends survivalist horror with psychological thriller elements sounds like it's gonna be a wild ride. Mark Pritchard's take on how people react when society collapses is super interesting - I'm curious to see where the film takes this concept.

The final girl is always a dream role, and Bishop seems like she'd bring a great level of desperation and intensity to Zoe. And with Clever Creature's involvement, I'm expecting big things from this project. Can't wait to get my hands on some early teasers or trailers... maybe by the time the film drops 🤞

omg i'm so down for this new horror flick "For the Good of the Herd" 🎃🔪 I love how the director is pushing the boundaries of survivalist horror and psychological thrillers, it's like a wild ride of emotions and fear 😱. Haley Bishop as Zoe sounds like an amazing role to play, i've seen her in "Host" and she's so talented, can't wait to see her bring this complex character to life 💪. The cast is looking fire too, gotta love a good final girl story 🎬💥

omg i'm so stoked about this new movie "For the Good of the Herd" 🎥👻! i love how they're blending survivalist horror with psychological thriller elements - sounds like a wild ride 💀🔪! haley bishop as zoe seems perfect, she's got that whole complex protagonist vibe down pat 😒. and the cast is insane, i'm already low-key shipping michaelangelo masangkay as producer lol 👫.

i think what really gets me excited is how they're exploring the impact of malign belief structures on individuals and society. like, we all know it's not always easy to distinguish between right and wrong when you're trying to survive 🤔. and it sounds like this movie will be pushing boundaries creatively and commercially - clever creature inc seems to be doing something amazing here 🙌.

anyway, i'm definitely keeping an eye on this project and can't wait for the premiere in november 📺👀
