Morrissey Cancels Two Mexico Concerts Due to 'Extreme Exhaustion'
In a shocking move, the famous singer-songwriter Morrissey has canceled not one, but two concerts scheduled for Mexico. The shows were set to take place on October 31 at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City and November 4 at Auditorio Telmex in Zapopan.
According to his concert promoter, OCESA, the decision was made due to Morrissey's "extreme exhaustion." Fans who purchased tickets online will receive a full refund via their credit card. Those who bought tickets through Ticketmaster or the box office can request refunds starting November 7 at the point of purchase.
The news comes as a disappointment to fans, especially given that this is not Morrissey's first show cancellation in recent months. In September, he canceled concerts in Boston and Connecticut due to a "credible threat" on his life.
Despite these setbacks, Morrissey is still set to perform in South America through the end of November, including shows in Buenos Aires and Argentina. His European tour itinerary also includes a December 12 concert in Greece to close out the year. When he returns to the United States next January, he will embark on a string of U.S. dates starting from January 3 in California.
For now, Morrissey's fans will have to wait and see when he'll be able to take the stage again.
