The young lawyer taking Pakistan to court over its unfair 'period tax'

I'm so down for this young lawyer's move 🙌! The fact that she's taking on the government over something as simple yet powerful as menstrual products is a major win in my book 💪. I mean, can you imagine being forced to choose between sanitary pads and food because they're too expensive? It's just not right 👎.

I think it's great that Mahwari Justice is supporting her case with such force 🤝. They're doing some amazing work already with their health education and product distribution programs. And 4,700 signatures for a petition? That's some serious momentum 💥!

Omer's words about how this issue has been "taboo and stigmatized" hit way too close to home 🙅‍♀️. It's time we start talking about periods in a more open and honest way. No more shame, no more silence. We need to make menstrual products accessible and affordable for everyone 💼.

I'm rooting for Omer all the way, and I hope her case brings about some serious change 🤞. Every girl (and woman) deserves to be able to manage their periods without breaking the bank or feeling like a burden to society 🌟.

I'm not convinced this young lawyer is just being altruistic 🤔. What's to stop her from gaining from this case? Is she getting paid or what? I need some info on how much financial support she's receiving and if it's coming from any shady sources. And another thing, why did it take a 25-year-old lawyer to bring this issue up? Shouldn't someone in the government be doing this already? 🤷‍♀️
