I also loved The Empty Man, it's so unique and flawed in a good way... I mean, who wouldn't want to watch a 137-minute horror movie
? And Pulse is like, the ultimate slow-burner... I was totally caught off guard by that ending

, but can't we explore some newer, edgier horror options? I mean, The Guest is literally a mashup of The Terminator and Rambo - it's like something out of a video game! And have you seen The Descent? That one still gives me the heebie-jeebies to this day 
. It sounds like it could be more like an action film with some horror elements thrown in, which might not be what fans of the genre are looking for. And don't even get me started on Cannibal Ferox... I mean, 1981? That's a bit of a red flag for me 
. I'm more in the mood for something that actually gets under my skin, you know? Maybe The Substance or Weapons are the ones I'll check out... 
that ending tho... i hate when films do that to me, makes me wanna rewatch the whole thing just to see if i missed anything 
cannibal ferox is a total classic though, i love how darkly comedic it is
