Apple is killing the old HomeKit Tuesday

I'm a bit worried about this Apple HomeKit update 🤔... I mean, I get that they wanna make things more efficient and stuff, but cutting off old hubs on iPads is a bummer for some users 📱. My grandma, she loves her iPad and uses it for her smart home setup 🏠. She's not exactly tech-savvy, so this might cause some issues for her. And what about people who aren't super familiar with iOS updates? It can be overwhelming to keep up with the latest and greatest 🤯... Anyone else feeling a bit anxious about this change? 😬

OMG, you guys! Apple is basically forcing us to upgrade our HomeKit system or we'll be left in the dark 🚫💡 I mean, I get it, new tech is always better, but come on, can't they give us a little more time? 💔 February 10th is like, really soon for some people! 😬 And what's with iPads being dropped as hubs? That's just weird... 🤔 Still, I guess it's good that we're getting the Matter smart home standard support. That sounds super cool 🔩👍

Ugh, I'm so done with Apple's constant updates 🤯! First, they take away features we love, then they force us to upgrade just because... and now this? I mean, what even is the point of having a smart home system if you can't even use it after a year or two? And what about all those people who didn't upgrade their phones or iPads yet? Are they going to be left in the dark forever? 🤷‍♀️ It's just so frustrating. Can't they at least give us a few more months to get our act together? I'm already dreading having to spend an hour updating my Home app... 😩

I'm kinda bummed that Apple is making us update our HomeKit thingy. Like, I get that they wanna improve it and all, but it's a bummer that iPads aren't supported as hubs anymore 🤖💔. What if I don't wanna upgrade my phone or computer? Can't I just keep using the old system? And what about all the users who aren't tech-savvy? They're gonna get left behind and their devices won't work, which is kinda stressful 😬. It's like Apple's saying we gotta keep up with the times if we wanna stay connected to our smart home devices. I guess that's true, but it feels a bit harsh 🤕.

I think Apple's decision to kill off the old HomeKit is a bummer for some people... I mean, who wants to upgrade all their smart devices just because it's no longer supported? 🤔 It's true, though - the new system sounds way more solid than the old one. I've been using my HomePod and it's always been pretty finicky, so this change could be a good thing for me. But for those who are used to just messing around with their devices without thinking about the tech behind them... yeah, they might get left behind. 📊

🚨 Update or face the music! I mean, come on Apple, give people a bit more time to adjust? 💸 February 10 is super tight. People are gonna struggle to keep all these new requirements straight. What's the point of making it easy and then suddenly yanking the rug out from under us? 🤔
