I'm low-key stoked about this new exhibition at the Variety Arts Building
! I've been hearing rumors about it for ages, and now that it's finally happening, I get to see what all the fuss is about. 90% of the works are from the Julia Stoschek Collection? That's some serious talent right there! And can we talk about how sick the main theater is gonna be with that big screen and old curtains hanging over the stage? It's like stepping back in time, you know?
I'm also really intrigued by the fact that some rooms have been transformed to show the films as originally intended. That level of detail is insane! And the bar in the basement playing piano music while showing Bunny Rogers' animated piece? Give me all the feels
. I do wonder how Ute Baur, aka "editor", managed to curate such an epic exhibition, but I guess that's for her to share now
. Can't wait to see it!
