Pierre Robert, Harry Donahue remembered for their legendary radio careers

man, these guys were legends 🙏... like, can you imagine if they were still around? Pierre Robert was always so cool with his vinyl cut thingy, I remember listening to it when I was a kid and loving every minute of it 💎. And Harry Donahue, oh man, he had that iconic voice... it's crazy how one person can be the voice of so many different sports and events 🏈🏀. But you know what's even crazier? They're not around anymore... 44 years for Pierre Robert and 35 for Harry Donahue... that's just too long 💔. It's like, we've lost a piece of Philly history or something... I'm gonna miss listening to WMMR without Pierre 🎵.

Man I'm so sad to hear about Pierre & Harry... they were legends 🙏🔥 44 yrs is crazy for Pierre, can't even imagine how many memories he must've made hosting WMMR... his segments sounded so cool ❤️ 'On This Day' & 'Pierre's Vinyl Cut', what a way to showcase the history of rock n' roll 🤟. And Jon Bon Jovi gave an amazing tribute, I love how he called him a "great friend"... must've had some epic times together 🎸.

And Harry Donahue was an incredible part of Philly sports broadcasting... 35 yrs is impressive, especially considering all the different roles he played 📺. Temple Athletics is right, he brought so much passion & pride to the university's games 💛. It's crazy how one voice can have such a huge impact on a city, these two guys left their mark for sure 👏
