Thune says extended shutdown means Senate needs to shift day on funding government

Ugh, can't believe this 🤦‍♂️... Government shutdowns again? I remember when we used to have some sense of decency in politics... Now it's all just party bickering and no one's listening to each other. Thune says he's open to new ideas, but so far, nothing's panning out 🚫. Two-and-a-half weeks is not a lot of time for negotiations, especially when you're talking about something as big as healthcare ⚕️. I think it's crazy that we're still debating this after all these years... We should be looking at solutions, not getting bogged down in partisan gridlock 🤝. And can someone please explain to me why we always end up like this? 🙄

I'm getting a bad vibe from this whole situation 😬. It's like they're setting up another failed negotiation 🤔. I mean, if Thune is already talking about shifting the deadline into 2026, that means something's not working right 👎. And it's still all about healthcare policy? Can't they just agree on something else for once? 🙄 It's like they're too proud to give in on anything except their precious health care plans 💪. I'm all for a good debate, but this is getting out of hand 🤯. Someone needs to step in and bring some sanity to the table 🔓!

I'm so worried about our country right now 😩. This government shutdown is getting more and more intense by the minute. I know we can't agree on everything, but come on, 2-and-a-half weeks?! That's not even enough time to make a decent cup of coffee 🍵 let alone work out a deal between Republicans and Democrats.

I think it's really sad that health care has become such a sticking point for both parties. It's like we're more focused on winning the argument than actually finding common ground 💔. I mean, can't we all just get along?! 😊

But seriously, John Thune's idea of shifting off-ramps and considering new deadlines is a good one 🤔. Maybe it's time for us to take a step back, regroup, and try a different approach. Who knows? Maybe by next year, we'll be sipping coffee in peace 😊

This whole situation with the gov shutdown is super crazy 🤯 - like, can't they just work together or something? I mean, Thune's all open to new ideas, but it feels like nothing's gonna change until someone throws a wrench in the works 😒. The problem is, nobody wants to make concessions on healthcare policy. It's like, okay, let's not have a shutdown, can we just find some middle ground? 🤝 I'm so over all this gridlock and partisanship 💔. Can't we just focus on getting stuff done for the American people? 🙄
