. Failing doesn't mean being trapped forever, it just means you need to explore other routes 
. Chapter 13 is a good choice for those with stable income, but others can try debt settlement or management plans 
. Some ppl might be exempt from the means test too 
. I guess the key is to not let failure discourage u and start researching ASAP
